Nick Flash
The man with many hat's

Nick Flash is a man who wears many hats, a jack of all trades if you will. His passion for creativity has led him down many righteous paths of self-expression through music, art, photography & journalism.

Music has always been a fundamental factor in Nick's life, starting with the influence of Jazz, Funk, and Rhythm & Blues from his hip parents. His passion for music at a young age enabled him to discover all genres, and to have a deep appreciation for all styles and tastes. But his first true love of music came in the early 90's with alternative-rock styes and funk-infused gangsta rap.

As a kid, he was always writing. His teachers called him gifted. He wrote stories, poems, speeches, and even a play for the theatre. He always had a flair for rhyming, so his poems eventually evolved into  raps which he would use to rock a crowd, or battle some sucker M.C. who would step to him.

By the time he was 18, he was recording his own tracks in a home studio that he and his friends had hand built, and began his career as a mobile Dj, spinning some of the most exclusive private parties and weddings up and down the Florida coast thanks to his mentor Kenny Mondo. It was in this time where he really perfected his craft, learning how to mix, scratch, and really control a dance-floor no matter what age group he played in front of.

At the age of 24, his enthusiasm for nightlife and wild parties lead him down another creative path- photography. After seeing the work of legendary nightclub photographers such as Bronques {lastnightsphtography.com} & The Cobra Snake {Thecobrasnake.com} he knew that photography was right up his alley. Always a purveyor of style, Nick Flash first began taking pictures at high end fashion shows for such names as Luca Luca, Carlos Miele, and Style Paris {Worth Ave}. As a contrast, he also focused on some of some of South Florida's hippest  nightclubs such as LIV, Rokbar & Palm Beach's 251.

After honing his skills in all these different areas, he is now focusing on combing them in to one entrepreneurial enterprise. By incorporating the likes of fashion, photography, djing & writing, he has now created his own website, {Nickflash.net} & started a fresh new blog & magazine called beScene.{beScenemag.com} He is also working with "the Gosa Group" on the very magazine you are reading right now,Vantage!

Over the years, Nick Flash has acquired many different creative skills and continues to grow and learn everyday. Enjoy his work here at Vantage magazine in the months to come, and when you see him in your city, say hello, he is sure to tip his hat to you.
